From the dust of the pit to the DNA of the workflow.

Every great leap in heavy industry begins with a simple realisation: physical assets can only take you as far as the systems that guide them.

For three decades, our founder Percival Ntuthuko Khoza walked the rugged terrain of multi-mineral operations — from open-cast pits and massive stockpiles to complex processing plants. He saw firsthand that while heavy machinery got larger and processing plants grew more complex, the core operating models remained fundamentally unchanged. Industrial operations were still plagued by legacy bottlenecks, manual tracking errors, and fragmented data.

Zikhona Africa Resources was born from this exact realisation. We didn't start in a sterile tech lab — we started in the dust, noise, and high-stakes environment of heavy industry. To truly capacitate an operation, we had to bridge the gap between heavy iron and intelligent code.
